Little hole in the wall in LO. Loved this place!! They had trivia games ranging from trivial pursuit to old beer games. Definitely a time warp kind of place! My DH and I burned a couple of hours here easily tonight. Staff was very friendly and upbeat and I think that if I'm in the area again- I'm going to stop in here. HH IS FROM 3-6 I think and it's based on firemen for all you firemen fans. You won't be disappointed here. You need to stop in here!!

It's been a while since I've been here but it was a very memorable experience. This place is located adjacent to an ice cream shop and I was with some friends and grabbed a cone at the shop and went to meet my buddies at the bar. The owner said I couldn't be in there with my ice cream cone from next door, that's fine and all but he was a complete a**hole about it. I walked out with my ice cream and ate it outside and walked back in. Dude gave me attitude the rest of the night. Luckily the bartender was nice and hooked it up with some seriously discounted drinks because he was a jerk. Thanks for the discount! I won't be back though...

The Hubby and I wandered in here last night after another long day of moving in to the neighborhood, and were very pleasantly surprised. I had been to this place a few times in the past when it was Archie's, and I strongly considered giving it a 4th star, simply because it is no longer Archie's. There was one fairly good sized group of guys, having a good time, and several other small groups of people hanging out at the bar when we arrived. All the patrons in there must be friends of the owner/staff, because it felt like I was in someones very relaxed comfortable home, rather than a bar. Very prompt and genuinely friendly service. Our waitress was in a good mood, hell, all the staff seemed to be in a "Hey Y'all" kind of mood. Wings - Perfect amount of sauce Burgers - Fresh thick cut veggies on the bun Pub Chips - TO DIE FOR PBR - YUM All was VERY good, considering it was all cooked with a FRY-DADDY and a commercial sized George Foreman Grill. This may have just become my fav bar in LO. I really wanted to give it a 4 star based on my experience last night, but to be fair, I will go again when I am not starving and exhausted. If it is still this good, they get 4 stars. Oh, ok the only thing that they could drastically improve on is the names of their menu items. I get that it's a "Firehouse" theme, but lets come up with a few more creative and obscure names for some stuff.

I stumbled into this joint just before closing. There was great music (read: not top 40) playing through the stereo system, the crowd was small and quiet enough that everyone could enjoy their own conversations. Erin, the bartender on duty that night, was wonderful and accommodated a very specific drink request of mine with only a few minutes before they stopped serving. My friend and I were allowed to stay and finish our drinks past closing and Erin even allowed us to grab an essential end-of-night glass of water while she was closing up the bar. I'm not trying to say the bar will let you hang out past closing, but in this particular instance I was very pleased with the service I received. If the rest of the staff is as great as Erin then this place should certainly be recommended as a relaxed atmosphere for grabbing a drink . . . or 6.

We were so surprised at how clean and friendly the Firehouse Pub was the moment we walked in. My wife and I thought their cheeseburgers were delicious and their "signature" thin fries were especially good. The wait staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. There are plenty of tables for relaxing with one of their beers or a nice glass of wine. I think it's fairly new ownership and it's obvious they care about their customers. Several other couples were there and we felt comfortable the moment we were greeted. I highly recommend visiting as this is a simple and fun place with a firehouse theme.

This bar sucks. The servers and the owner are incredibly rude. I'm never going back.

The staff here are incredibly friendly to us. We've never been when it has been busy Toni, Natalie & Rick are very engaging and down to earth. When I'm visiting Lake Oswego I'm taken here. Sat night we came here so I could watch college football game the coincided with The Ducks game. They graciously changed a smaller tv so I could watch another game and the main tv in the ducks. Typical bar food that is consistent. I always come back!!

Service is horrible! Food was okay but I think we saw a rat near the door!!! A rat!!! In Lake Oswego!!!!!

Very cool atmosphere. Pool tables and TVs. Fast/friendly service. Food is...typical bar fare. Perfect accompaniments to the nice drink selection. I recommend it for a drink and a bite, and afterwards walking over to the Salt 'n Straw cart :)

Came here to watch a Duck game in early November, and my group came about 30 minutes before the game, and about an hour before a shift change. My one qualm was the service - lack of service, really. There was one bartender/cook staffing the whole thing - on a game night. In one of the 4ish sports bars in downtown L.O. Honestly, that's just poor planning. Bars like this, with a little fire-house gimmick, great bar and cozy atmosphere - they could make a killing on a bunch of people who literally came to drink and eat pub food. The beers took too long, the food took even longer - so by the time we got everything it our buzzes were fading. Come on! It's a three hour game! At least staff the kitchen as well as the bar! On top of everything the Ducks lost. Perhaps that's tainting my outlook on the experience, but they could have done a lot more to cheer us up from that loss!

Had a great time with friends...played pool, WON $$ on video poker, good bar food, fun loving staff. Really cool atmosphere, fire dept memorabilia everywhere. Enjoyed banter w/bartender plus they pour a mean drink-you're definitely getting your money's worth!!! We'll definitely be back

Great friendly bar, service rocks, great staff, fantastic happy hour menu. Reminds me of the bar from Cheers

This is my favorite bar in Lake Oswego. Unpretentious, friendly, and never so crowded you can't find a place to sit or hear your friends. This is not the kind of bar you go to when you are wanting a big night out, but the perfect kind of bar for an after work drink or if you want a relaxed night with some friends. The patrons are generally a bit older, calmer, and most are regulars. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff. Sam always remembers a face and has a great personality. Sure, when they are packed it may take a while for a refill, but with a small bar that usually doesn't have enough of a crowd to require more than one person that is reasonable. It is a family run bar, so to keep it open they can't waste money on having more than one person working since most of the time it's not busy enough to merit that. It also does close around 10-11pm each night, but once again I think that is because it's never busy enough to merit the cost of staying open later. Food is good, the drinks are stiff, and the prices are low compared to the other bars in the area.

came in for lunch on tuesday. sat at the bar and was helped by Char. she's awesome just like the pub. the deep fried pickle spears were nom nom nom

Staff there is confrontational and rude. The one bartender who has been married for 17 years started a fight with some lady who used the remote control that was left sitting on a stool. Awkward!

Meh pretty much sums it up. Dont waste your time and money when there are so many better places in the area. Nothing special going on here.

I have a thing for firemen, so this visit was a no brainer. Located in the heart of Lake O, across the street from the decidedly upscale Lake View Village, this was a surprisingly homey and smoke-free pub. Opened in August by a former fireman and friends, it is filled with helmets, pumps and other firehouse memorabilia. One of the owners, Char, waited on me at the bar and she was very welcoming. The menu has a couple of 'healthy options', but it is really a burger, wings, dogs and beer kind of joint. The burger was good and I recommend their house made chips as a side, served with dipping sauce. Even though the pub is new, the space is well worn. I wasn't thrilled with the wobbly seats at the bar. It could get interesting when you're tipsy. It also feels geared toward an older crowd, rather than those in their 20s and early 30s. There's a pool table and happy hour is from 3 - 6p (Monday thru Friday) when they knock a couple dollars off a few of their food and drink prices. A good alternative if you don't feel like going to one of the many high end places in town.

This place is alright. Definitely better than the Gemini down the street. The drinks are priced alright, and though it is a small place there are plenty of places to sit. The decor is kind of neat and they have little games on the bar and trivia nights. The bartendress during the week is a bit... blah. She didn't greet us when we came in (despite the entire place being totally empty)... she just stared at us and really made it feel like it was a huge bother to pour a couple beers. I'd visit again with friends if I wanted to go out but stay close to home.

Located downtown Lake Oswego this place is pretty cool for a laid back low key place. It's Lake os version of dive bar I guess you could say. Everyone who is looking to party is around the corner at The Gemini. I came here to watch a Blazers game. They have a huge tv here in the middle of the bar Which is awesome. It seems clean inside and has a cute fire house theme going on. Good job for not naming your bar and following the theme throughout the inside. The drinks were good and stiff. My boyfriend had chicken fingers he said they were good for bar food. So the menu isn't gourmet but after a couple stiff drinks who cares what their eating anyways. There was knly one guy working though. He got stuff done But it was just weird that one guy was working during a game night. The other thing I didn't much enjoy was how close the tables were together. The guy behind me kept bumping me and I eventually changed my seating because there are no room for chairs in-between tables! They had other tables to sit at But everyone wanted a good view of the tv so we were all very close. So there was that. Not a big deal But it should be fixed. I'll definitely be back here. Wednesday is all day happy hour Which is awesome!

We love this pub! Here's why it's a dog friendly pub ( can't take them inside but they'll bring you water bowls and such), has a casual atmosphere, a great owner and staff. Our friend said that there was an issue with younger staff before but that's since been taken care of. Now, this is definitely NOT a place to come a party it up. You'll find people of all ages here but they are looking to enjoy a few drinks, good company & possibly make new friends along the way. You'll find delicious food, beer, & classic cocktails here. If you're looking to get wasted or want a stupid drink like an Adios Mother Fucker look elsewhere. Also it's smokefree but you can smoke just outside the front door.

The worst place in the world. F this place. Never going there again ever... Because the waitress attacked a very nice older lady. The remote was there and we turned up led zeppelin. The bar wench came and pulled the remote out of her hands like she wanted to fight. She was so aggressive. In my whole life I've never experienced such outrageousness!!!

I really want to like this place but when you come in to spend money and there is only one other person in the building and you can't even get refilled because the bartender is reading a book something's wrong. I can even handle the book reading but the unfriendliness when she finally waddled over to help was too much. Came in with two friends to watch the Seahawks on Sunday and spend money but ended up leaving before the game started. Horrible of the horribleness in regards to service.
